At the tail end of 2018, in an attempt to foster some much-needed positivity, MIKE DIGRAZIA decided to start journaling. To make things interesting, he decided to document his thoughts in haiku form in lieu of standard journal entries. He proceeded to write at least one haiku journal entry every night for just over a year before closing the book and packing it away. When he later found that journal in a battered moving box, a lot had changed... for everyone. It was January, 2021 and COVID-19 had ravaged, and was continuing to ravage the world, causing unfathomable anxiety and hardship to the planet’s population. While scanning through his haiku journal for the first time in over a year, he found some nuggets of optimistic positivity and truth in what he’d written, and it was just what he needed to get himself back on track in these uncertain times.
